Therapeutic Gaming Interest Meeting

This is an interest meeting regarding forming a therapeutic gaming group for teenagers that will begin meeting in the fall. The group will use role playing games alongside some therapeutic group work to promote social skills such as:

Communication

Building Connections with Others

Collaborating

Managing Problems Individually and Collectively

Meeting (9AM-10AM)

This will be a general interest meeting for therapeutic gaming offered in our office on a set schedule during the fall. We will discuss positive outcomes and goals both from our clinicians and from parents for the involvement of kids in a therapeutic gaming intervention. 

Demonstration (10AM-12PM)

Anyone who is interested in experiencing a single event demonstration of what a therapeutic gaming session will look like can sign up to participate following the interest meeting. Anyone else from the interest meeting is welcome to watch the demonstration.
